Vincent Lecavalier wanted another chance to show he can contribute in the NHL, and to win while doing it.

It likely wasn't going to come with the sixth-place Flyers, so on Wednesday the team Josh Reynolds Jersey dealt the 17-year veteran and defenseman Luke Schenn to the Kings for 23-year-old defenseman Jordan Weal and a 2016 third-round pick, the teams announced .

To facilitate the trade and make the financials work for the salary cap-strapped Kings, the Flyers agreed to retain 50 percent of the Schenn and Clay Matthews Jersey Lecavalier salaries, according to TSN.ca .

"It's obviously been tough," Lecavalier told ESPN.com before Wednesday's trade. "But at the same time, I'm not going to Tyrunn Walker Jersey the rink pi sed off every day. The only thing I can control is just how hard I practice and how ready I am for when either I come back into the lineup or if something happens with a trade or something like that."
